order to protect consumers in this area, the territorial administration performs the following tasks:
- developing and ensuring the practical implementation of a unified state policy in the field of consumer protection in the field of housing and communal services, construction and transport;
- providing consumers with access to reliable and complete information about goods (works, services), their manufacturer, performer and seller, including using information and communication technologies;
- development and implementation of programs aimed at improving consumer knowledge and literacy of the population;
- assistance to consumers in protecting their rights and interests;
- implementation of state control over compliance with legislation on consumer protection, as well as cooperation in the field of safety of goods (works, services) and quality control;
- analysis of the causes of consumer rights violations , preparation of proposals for their elimination and prevention of consumer rights violations;
- organization of social surveys among citizens on satisfaction with the level of consumer protection in the field of housing and communal services, construction and transport;
- consideration of appeals of individuals within their powers in accordance with the procedure established by law.
