in order to protect consumers in this area, the territorial administration performs the following tasks:
- Implementation of state control over compliance with the requirements of the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On consumer protection";
- Providing consumers with access to reliable and complete information about goods (works, services), their manufacturer, performer and seller, including using information and communication technologies;
- Development and implementation of programs aimed at improving consumer knowledge and literacy of the population;
- Conducting monitoring (supervision) together with relevant organizations and bodies, making suggestions and information on consumer protection;
- analysis of the consumer market, the order of changes in prices for socially important goods and the formation of prices for them;
- development of sound proposals and recommendations for price stabilization in the domestic consumer market;
- Carry out consideration of offers, complaints and applications received from consumers in accordance with the established procedure and terms.
