On May 8 this year, a citizen living in khorezm region applied to the consumer protection agency of the Antitrust Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan through the Call Center. He complained that the funds to be returned by the car dealership as a concession under the contract were not returned by the car dealership, as the car dealership had made payments for the Cobalt car for 7 (seven) calendar days.
As a result of the study, it became known that the citizen made 100 percent of the payment for the car on the day of the contract, and four months later arrived the car, which was looking forward.
But on the basis of the special discount specified in the contract, the funds of 5,100,000 sums, which are to be returned by the car dealership to the citizen, came without making various demands.
Article 19 of the Consumer Protection Act of the Republic of Uzbekistan states consumer rights in violation of the terms of the contract on the performance of work and services.
As a result of clarifications carried out by the responsible employees of the territorial administration to the representatives of the car dealership on the requirements of the law, the car dealership returned to the consumer 5,100,000 sums of money.
